How can I change the font color of the "Submit" label on the Stay Theme?
-
I have a great color scheme for my site, but the “Submit” label on the Reservations Widget is too light and does not show up. Can I change the font color on it? Also, in the same vain, the Top Menu font is quite light as well.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you paste the following code into the CSS box in your customizer, the font for the submit button will turn black. If you want a different color, or have any trouble pasting the code let me know.
input[type="submit"]{ color: #000; }I’m not sure what color you would prefer for the top menu, but if you replace <insert color here> with the hexcode for the color you want, then paste the code below into the CSS box, the menu color will change.
#menu-mtop-menu a{ color: <insert color here> }This tool will help you pick a hex code color.

lizthefair, A follow up question! I added the Eventbright Calander Widget, and the font color of the name of my event is black and again hardly visible. Can you send me code to change that to the lighter color font used on the site (same as the date of event listing in the event bright widget)? The other codes you gave work out fine! Thanks!

This should help:
.eb-event-list-title{ color:#FFFEDF; }Let me know if you need anything else!

Help! My site colors are all different and you cannot read anything. I think the dark grey background is missing—can’t tell. site is Living Characters Workshop: garyizzo.wordpress.com
It was fine this morning. I cleared the cash, no good. I the color shows correctly in Appearances-Background, but not on the page; I can’t fix it in Customize-Colors. It seems to be the dark grey background is not rendering.
I REALLY need this site to be visible this week. Can you help? After I put your two css codes in yesterday all was fine. (??)

I’m not entirely sure what happened, but it looks like you’ve lost all of your customizations. Do you remember what you were doing right before this happened? that might help us figure out what the trigger was.
To fix it, you can go back to your customizer (not WP-admin) and re-choose the color scheme you’d settled on.
Then, you can re-add the custom CSS from earlier in our conversation.
The following CSS should also help restore your background color to your whole site:
#page, .hentry{ background-color:#3e4147; }Let me know if you have any trouble with that, or have any remaining areas where the customizations are still missing.

Okay, I added back the css I had before, plus your new one. This did restore the background EXCEPT on the home page in the Widget area. Also, not sure if you changed it back, but yesterday, just to get it visible to viewers (because i have to get booking on it this week and have ads out so yikes) , I changed the Color scheme to one that at least the text showed up; this morning it had changed back to my original colors scheme. (??)
So I still have issues with some of it.Gary

Oh, and I don’t recall what I did just before this, but it was fine the night before, fine that next morning when i checked, but then later just changed—I really didn’t make any changes that day other than checking stats.

Here’s how to change the background for the widget section:
#home-widgets{ background:#3e4147; }Also, not sure if you changed it back, but yesterday, just to get it visible to viewers (because i have to get booking on it this week and have ads out so yikes) , I changed the Color scheme to one that at least the text showed up; this morning it had changed back to my original colors scheme.
That might have been me. I was trying to figure out what all the changes were, and I know I tested some of the color schemes. I didn’t mean to leave it changed, but I might have.
After you add the code above do you still see problems?

Checking all revisions on pages, no revisions where made yesterday ( I was working on my other site).
The areas in question are all widgets on the home page, and the Reservation widget in the top menu and also on the side bar. Strangely the EventBright widget on the Home Page is effected, but not the one in the side bars on the rest of the site.

Okay, the background is restored to the Home page Widget area. that’s great! But the Reservation widget is still wrong. I use it twice, once as the Contact Us in the menu bar and once as an email list in the side bar.

Here you go!
.widget_reservations{ background:#3e4147; }
