How can I change the header image of a theme , and get the right dimensions ?
-
I am trying to change the header image of the hemingway theme, and when I choose my picture, which I made myself with the exact dimensions you suggested (1280 x 416), the image doesn’t seem to fit in the area. It gets too big and we can only see half of it. I am not working from this blog URL though, I am working from the a go daddy account on the website http://www.jocelynhogue.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Hemingway Rewritten theme is available for WordPress.com websites, whereas the self-hosted WP.org version is called Hemingway. I didn’t find the image dimension specs for the Hemingway theme, but in the Hemingway Rewritten theme guide, the dimensions you cite refer to featured images on single posts and pages. The Quick Specs section of the Hemingway Rewritten theme guide says, in part:
Featured Images are 676 wide by unlimited height on Sticky posts, and 1280 by 416 as header images on single posts and pages.

I want to have my own website name and not the default name – how do I do this. I’m a beginner with developing a website so what may seem easy to some is entirely challenging for me.
