how can I change the main image for social media sharing?

I want to make the header image for my main page the image that people see when I share the page to social media… how can I change that? It seems to be defaulting to the theme image from the template instead! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank! :)

Not every theme has featured images; only some do. Your theme does have them https://wordpress.com/themes/affinity/ Go to that page please for set up instructions.
We have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
