How can I change the order of my posts?

  I have an image which I want to keep static at the top of my blog. But when I add new post they always tend to be published at the top pushing my featured image down. Is their away that I can keep one image static and manage the order of my post manually? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  Make the Post “Sticky” – in the same box as the Update or Publish button
