How can I change the sidebar from the right to the left?

    I am a total css noob and have been doing my best to change the coding of my theme to make my sidebar move to the right hand side of my webpage. Currently, my widgets sit on the right side of the home screen and I like my current theme so would rather not change the entire theme for this one issue. Now I am here so have, obviously, been unsuccessful in trying to do this myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated because google has failed me and I’m a coding idiot.
