How can I change the text colour to black?
-
I used The Sempress Theme template to create my blog at franklandauthor.wordpress.com
However, the headline to my first post, and the text at the foot of the page, appears blue.
I want all text to appear black. How do I change it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there! As this is a design element created by the theme’s designers, the only way to adjust this font color is to upgrade to Custom Design:
en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
If you choose to do this, I can give you the CSS code needed to change the titles’ color.
Let me know what you decide. Many thanks! -
Hi, Robyn. I’ve upgraded to Custom Design as you suggested, thank you.
The CSS code would be good. However, I’m not a techie and don’t feel confident I’ll know what to do with it.

Hi there! I will step you through it, and I’ll make it painless :)
- In your site’s Dashboard, click Appearance → Customize.
- You’ll see a menu on the right-hand side of the page. Click CSS.
- Replace all the existing text in the CSS Revisions box with the following:
a {
color: #000000;
} - Then click Save.
That should do the trick! You are now a website developer!

Good grief – it works!
What a star you are. You’re right – you DID make it painless.
Tell your boss I think you should get a raise. Today!Thank you so much.
