How can I change the text of the submit button in the contact form?

    Hi,

    I want to change the text of the submit button in the contact form on both my “Request” page in English and the one in Japanese. From “Submit” to the meaningful text like “Get a Healing Reading”.

    I’ve checked the CSS selector of the form on target. It’s “contact-form-66” for the English one and “contact-form-174” for the Japanese one.

    However, I can’t figure out how to write CSS to set a new text on the submit button in the current contact forms: contact-form-66 and contact-form-174.

    Please let me know what to do next. Any tip would be appreciated!

    Hi there, the Submit » text isn’t something that we can change since it is a “value” set by the theme/WordPress files rather than being text within a div or span. Here is the HTML for the button
    <input class="pushbutton-wide" type="submit" value="Submit »">
    and in order to change that value, we would have to edit the php script files and we cannot do that at WordPress.com.

    Thank you so much for your response!

    That means that as long as I use the ready-made contact form, I can’t change the text of the button.

    But, if I make something like a form by HTML, I can set the text of the submit button as well.

    OK, thanks much for the information. It’s helpful.

    Warm Regards,
