How can I change the URL in the permalink (it shows the unmapped URL)?

    When publicizing a post on Facebook, I noticed that the permalink it creates shows the URL before mapping (elmgrovejuniorguild.wordpress.com.. instead of elmgrovejuniorguild.com..). Can I change that? Same for all pages, if I want to forward a link to a page, it still has the .wordpress. in the URL. I don’t want people to get confused.
