  How can I change the user role from viewrer to author?

  As an Administrator of a blog, you can change other users’ roles by following the steps here https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#changing-user-roles

  But there it is only possible to change roles among contributor, author, editor and administrator.

  Is it possible to change a viewer´s role?
