How can I change to a “snapshot” format?

    I just installed my Blog yesterday. I uploaded several lengthy posts and they were displayed in full and in sequence. Because these posts were so long, the Blog was not very attractive.

    Later–for reasons I do not understand–the blog starting showing only the title and maybe six or eight lines of each post. If someone was interested, they could view the entire post–if they weren’t interested in a particular post they could move on to the others. This shortened “snapshot” or “postcard” versions of the posts was GREAT. The Blog looked clean and easily accessible.

    Today–again, for reasons I do not understand–the “snapshot” or “postcard” introductions to each post are gone and each lengthy post is reproduced in sequence and in it ENTIRETY on the home page. As a result, the Blog looks bad, inaccessible, and intimidating.

    How can I cause the Blog to permanently display in this “snapshot” mode?

    If you have installed WordPress, I think you are in the wrong forum. Have you read this thread:
