How can I connect my blog to Hootsuite?

  How do I connect to Hootsuite? I have followed directions in older posts, but they are not working for me. Any help is much appreciated!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  here is the error I’m getting:

  Error: Could not find your blog.
  The WordPress app for HootSuite supports WordPress.org sites V 3.4+
  Your WordPress site must be XML-RPC enabled

  XML-RPC is already enabled by default here at WordPress.com.
  Make sure that you have the correct XML-RPC URL:

  thanks timethief, I tried it, but I’m still getting the same error.

  Is there a way to check to make sure I have V 3.4+?

  Your screenshot suggests you are trying to connect HootSuite to a self-hosted blog running the software at WordPress.org.   To anyone having this problem: I think the issue is that you’re trying to connect using the WordPress.org app (which doesn’t work for .com blogs). Here’s what I did: I clicked on “Add Stream” near the top. Then I clicked on “WordPress” in the menu that came up there and typed in username / password. That worked for me, but if you have more than one blog, it looks like it defaults to your Primary Blog. Here’s what it says under “Settings”: If you manage multiple blogs under one WordPress.com account you must set which blog will be updated by calls from HootSuite. Log into WordPress.com and choose your Primary Blog under Settings – Account (reached from Global Dashboard).
  I hope that helps someone here.
