How Can I Contact WordPress?
-
Dear WordPress,
If you can kindly give me a way to contact WordPress, I would be thankful.
This is about something that is important.
Thank you.
Any help is appreciated.-Hollow72244

You can email support at wordpress dot com but that’s the slowest way to get help. The fastest way is to make a post here and tag it appropriately for your support question, eg “categories” or “Custom Design” or whatever. Then volunteers can generally answer it in less than ten minutes; if we can’t, we will tag the thread for staff attention.

How do I delete our site from search engines, it’s everywhere and no one has touched it in a year. The organization wants it gone!
-
I want to cancel my subscription and get a refund. I set this up less than 2 days ago and no longer want to proceed.

@threelegforte
Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account that registered the blog in question you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/After you do that if you cannot locate a verification email, look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link. If clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ You may wish to make it private instead and use it as a testing and backup blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting a blog or blog content does not remove any indexed content from appearing in the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. If you notify us within two days of purchase you may cancel a domain name purchased through WordPress.com and receive a full refund. After cancellation, there is no guarantee that the domain will become available to register somewhere else and you may not be able to get it back. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds
If applicable also see http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles/#canceling-a-bundleNote: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

I have another wordpress username. I have 2 blogs on it. I upgraded one of those blogs to a paid-for website. When I tried to reply to comments on that blog, I realized my username wasn’t showing up as the blog name. After going back and forth with a helpful WordPress person, it was determined that my best option would be to open a new WordPress username account and she would help me transfer the upgraded blog over to it. I’m ready to transfer it over and need help.

Who is this Staff person? If you were communicating by email previously with Staff then why post here ate all? Why aren’t you continuing that email conversation?
I have another wordpress username.
If you were not communicating by email with Staff then what is this other username account please?
. I have 2 blogs on it.
What are the URLs of these blogs?
What is the domain URL and which blog do you want it transferred from and to?
-
The person helping me was CATRYMER. I’m not even sure I’m asking for help in the right place.
-
Do you have an email address for that Staff member? If you do please use it and provide answers to all the questions I posted above in the email.
-
When I click on the “Reply” link on the emails I was getting from CATRYMER, it brings me to these forums. But when we were communicating 2 weeks ago I believe it was just through private emails.

@theramingokim – you will need to login to your other WordPress user account to see the past exchange with that staff member. Please continue your correspondence with them in that thread.
I hope that clarifies things.

I don’t know why, but it seems that my password is always slightly different every time I try to log onto WordPress to update my blog. I always have to enter it several times. Today was the worst, and now it appears that I’m locked out of my account. I tried calling GoDaddy support to find out how to get back in, but they were not helpful. Now I’ve wasted two hours trying to get onto my site, I’ve changed my password so many times and I’m really upset because I can’t speak with anyone at WordPress to find out why I cannot update my site. Also: It seems I have two WP accounts/logins. Is that possible?

I don’t feel like people need to see ads on your blog they are there to read your blog NOT to see ADS & I can’t afford the upgrade! Very disappointed in you wordpress

It’s important to read the terms of service before agreeing with them. If you don’t, it’s silly to complain afterwards.
