How can I control the default display of my blog's front page

  I want my blog to display on the tile format rather than story by story. In other words on my home page I choose whether to view it one way or the other using the top right icon. One looks like a checkerboard, the other has three horizontal lines. The default seems to be horizontal. I want the default to be checkerboard view. How can I do this?

  I see that you set the default to grid and that is currently what I am seeing:

  

  If that is not what you see, can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?
