How can I control what my followers see in an email?

    At the moment everyone who follows my blog is receiving the full post via email, so they don’t actually have to click on the website to read my blog posts. I want to change this so that they receive only part of the blog post and have to click a link that takes them to the site to continue reading. This way they can be counted in my site stats. How do I do this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi thedimsumdiaries,
    Try this:
    Dashboard > Settings > Reading

    And then you’ll see: For each article in a feed, show
    Then choose summary.

    Does that not just change it on the main page of my blog though, rather than what followers receive in an email?

    Nothing to do with front page – everything to do with email – try it you will like it – this is what I use – makes very small email’s
