  Hello, how can I copy the files from free WordPress site to another site?

  The site I need help with is englishphonemehelp.wordpress.com.

  @jonesbrown99 what you advice is not possible on the wordpress.com platform. The only way you can move a site from the wordpress.com platform to a self-hosted site, is described at https://move.wordpress.com/

  If the target site is another WordPress.com site, then this involves exporting content from the first WordPress.com site in a series of XML files, and then importing them to the second site. See the Export and Import support pages.

  However, if the target site is on another platform, then I’d suggest you seek help from their support on how to import the files properly.

  If it’s only media files that you want to export, then an alternative is described in the Exporting the Media Library section of the Export support page. However, that section includes the following cautionary note:

  Media files downloaded in this way cannot be imported to another WordPress site. If you want to move your media to a different site, it’s best to use the regular export option described above.
