How can I correct crossed out text in a daily digest subscription email?

A reader received their daily digest today but half of the post in the email was crossed out (the text was strikethrough). The post showed up fine in the draft and preview areas of the dashboard and it also published just fine without the strikethrough. Why would my reader receive such a skewed format in the email? How can I fix this? Thank you.

2. Do you happen to know what email client and Internet browser the reader was using?
3. Would it be possible for you to take a screenshot of the error?
