    Hello,

I want to create a directory to put my archive pages there. Example:

    https:// website .com/NEWDIRECTORY/page1

How do I do that? Btw I am using wordpress.com (not wordpress.org) and my paid plan doesn’t allow me to use plugins.

  • Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. To better assist you, could you provide more details about what you intend to achieve by creating a new directory for your archive pages? Understanding your goal will help us guide you appropriately.

On WordPress.com, creating a physical directory at the server level isn’t possible, especially without plugin use. However, there might be alternative ways to organize your pages. For example, you can create parent and child pages to structure your site’s content, which might achieve a similar effect.

Please see this guide for managing pages on WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/

If you could clarify whether you’re looking to take these pages offline or have a different objective, that would be very helpful. Any specific examples you have in mind would also aid in providing you with the best solution.

    Thanks for the additional info.
