how can I create a gallery of video posts?

Hi,
Ive created a series of photography image posts in gallery form. I tried doing this with videos and although there was a placeholder (I even set a featured image for each video), the video did not open. When I post a video without adding it to a gallery it works. what am I doing wrong?
I created a Page called Video and used the gallery template. Then a few video posts using the video template . Then I dragged my gallery items (video posts) into the gallery page options……??? thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Currently there is no specific video gallery feature like there is for image galleries; however, there are two great themes that do exactly what you want:

It looks like the two pages are using the same kind of template? On the left is your editorial page and the right is the video page:
I found that your video pages were empty. Please note that you don’t need the shortcode. Just enter the link directly for example just paste in this:
Then the video will be embedded into your post.

Hi yes I want the same template for both pages: One for images and one for videos.
I will try entering the link instead.
But I have .mov files from my computer that I am loading in my media library and work just fine if I post individually, but not when I add them to the Gallery. -

The reason being that videos are not allowed in the image gallery. The gallery is only for images. The only themes that allow for video galleries are the ones I mentioned before.

told me to create a video post using the video template. then create a page using a gallery template and drag the videos into the gallery options page. -
I’m confused as to what you want to do.
Both pages look the same:

The template is the same. When you click on one of the posts within Editorial you are taken to a gallery of images for example it looks like this:
From my understanding you want to create a video gallery so that videos are seen in the slideshow instead of images? When I go to the Trump video post I see this:
But instead of that you want to show a gallery of videos – is that correct?
If that is, that would not be possible. I see that you created a gallery post format for the posts within Editorial – that’s possible because those are images. Galleries can only include images.
I see that you selected Video format for the video posts on your Video page. Please note that would not mean Video Gallery.
If you create a gallery you will see that only images are available as seen here:

Hi Yes, The trump video post works because it is a vimeo link ( and blush prom is a youtube link) however, all my other videos are in .mov format.
I want to create a gallery of videos. For example, when I click on PetSupermarket (its a .mov file) thumbnail, I want the Petsupermarket video to play. When I click the Elite Sports thumbnail (also a .mov), I want the Elite Sports video to play, and so forth. I want to eliminate the subitems from video and only have a gallery of videos.
So I cannot create a gallery of video posts in a page, correct?

I believe what he was referring to (after reading your chat) was that you can have a post with a video in it, but not a video gallery like you have with the image gallery.
You can upload videos with the VideoPress upgrade and embed that into your post just like you would with the Vimeo and Youtube links. But again, you wouldn’t be able to have a gallery in the manner of the slideshow like you have with the image gallery.
I hope this makes sense as I know it can be a bit confusing!
