How can I create a static page for the homepage? No option.

  For my new blog, ECD Ltd, I have the option to use a static page as the homepage under the “Reading” tab…but for my long-running, popular blog, SquabbleBox, I cannot.

  Is there a reason for this? Is there any way I can do it?
