How can I create my reserved name blog?

When I signed up I was asked a blog name, I fill it but don’t create the blog at that time. Now I’m ready to create it but I don’t see how to do it?
When I try to create a new blog with that name it sillily doesn’t allow me and propose other names.
How can I create it?

No way, I want to create cantasogni.wordpress.com not associate a domain to a blog. Anycase, if I try Domains Add it says I cannot associate a domain to a blog not on wordpress.com; as you see, I need to create my blog on wordpress.com not associate a domain.

Hi there,
It’s not possible for you to register the address, cantasogni.wordpress.com. That address is reserved, meaning only the person who owns the username, cantasogni, can register that address.
If you own the cantasogni username, you need to log in as that username to register that address. Else you’ll need to pick a different address.

Please see my reply above. There is no way for you to use the address, cantasogni.wordpress.com, and there’s nothing we can do to change that.

I simply asked if you could check the real case, if there’s really another user with that name or what else. To be sure and get out of the suppositions.
I’m a bit surprised, because I own the domain cantasogni.it and possibly I fill the name when I first registered with wordpress.com and I was asked a name for a blog.
Can you kindly check the case, if there’s a real user with that name and if it’s a preexistent old user?

Hi there, the cantasogni username is an active account but they have not activated the cantasogni.wordpress.com site, but as mentioned, because they have that username, that site address is reserved for them.
The WordPress.com urls are subdomains of the main wordpress.com domain name, and as such they are not registered through a domain registrar, so there are instances where someone will have mysite.com or whatever, but there also could be a mysite.wordpress.com subdomain as well not owned by the person with the mysite.com registered domain.

Could you tell me the date of activation of that user? As I asked.
How can I contact that user?
It’s an invented word, not a common word, so I know this case is pratically possible, but we enter in a matter of fair use, to avoid confusion. To limit this now I must stay away from using wordpress.com in any way.

I’m afraid we cannot disclose any of that information as we value the privacy of our users.
The only way to contact them is if they ever activate the cantasogni.wordpress.com site. Then you can either leave a message in the contact form (if any) or leave them a comment in one of their posts.

I see. As a last word and I close this thread, it seems to me it has nothing to do with privacy, but indeed with fair social behavior in the social sphere.
