How can I crop my images in a slideshow gallery like a featured image?

    Hello,

    I am trying to get my image gallery to act like it’s a featured image so when I select photos, they crop to the size I have predetermined for my image gallery. I am not talking about picking small, medium, large… I am trying to figure out how to set a slideshow to say…
    height: 200px
    width: 1000px
    …and instead of stretching and warping the image, it crops it instead.

    I think I am asking for too much, huh?

    My site is in draft form and locked. Sorry that I can’t show you, but here is the furthest I got with the CSS (unfortunately, it’s not right because it’s stretching the image to the desired width, but not cropping it so it’s distorted.):

    .slideshow-window .slideshow-slide img {
    min-width: 1025px !important;
    }

    Thanks for any help! I am still new to this.

  • Hi there. Please post in the CSS forum to find out if this would be possible via CSS and what code you would need. Most of us in the general forum can’t help you with CSS issues.
