how can I delete a follower of my blog?
-
Someone decided to follow my blog. I looked at their information and it looks very sketchy. I don’t want them to follow me; I think it is spam and it’s a fake account. Other bloggers could be in danger! Please investigate this blog: http://marissariback.com. And please let me know how I can block them.
Thank you,

WordPress does not allow us to delete any follower, if it is a public blog. I do not agree with it, but there’s nothing we can do about it. This is something that has been requested for a long time now.
I looked at the site and it is a wp. ORG blog, so there is no means of marking it as spam.

…as long as it’s marked ‘public’, your blog is a magazine on a rack in a giant convenience store. Anyone can pick it up and read it. You can control the content, and what comments appear, but that’s it. If the person wasn’t ‘Following’ you, or subscribing to your content using another RSS feed aggregator, they could still surf through and read everything you publish.
It’s not that WordPress “won’t allow us to delete followers”, it’s that there’s no point to having the option. If it really upsets you, send the person an email telling them to go away, or make your blog private.
