how can i delete a website

Add topic to favorites
i moved my site from wordpress.com to a private server, and want to delete the one on wordpress.com
how do i do this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you wish to delete the blog and all of its contents completely, goto
on the top left. After you click My Site, check the menu on the left-hand side for the link
. Click that. A new page will open with a new menu on the left side. Mouse over the 3rd icon up from the bottom (a wrench) and an option appears to
. Click that and on the new page scroll down until you see the red text Delete Site. There you go!

thanks so much.
now i have another question:
i recently moved my wp site to a private host.
i am trying to upgrade and work out the kinks myself. i currently have two issues:
1. i want to move all my blog posts to a page called Blog rather than being on the landing page for the site. i have created a page called Blog , but can’t figure out how to move the posts there.
2. i created a new home page and published it. it appears on the dashboard correctly, and in the preview correctly, but when i go to the site and press on home it send me to my old wordpress site.
any ideas??

Glad that helped. Those are some good questions. For the 2nd one, while I think about the other one, are you sure the link you set up is pointing to your correct location?

yes that link looks good- it is 11:30 pm here- so i will read it tomorrow.
but the first question is quite worrisome- i don’t see where the link is?

Hm, sorry to confuse you. The good thing is that I think you can probably delete the page you made, because the link you’re going to look over tomorrow explains how to take care of both of the questions you asked, so it seems. Hopefully it fixes your problem!

yes- i am still up and all fixed.
one last question that is stumping me (i need to go to sleep….)
there is one new page i created and it keeps coming up as invalid on the menu and therefore does not appear as a tab on the site. i trashed it and redid it and it still is invalid. any ideas??

Whoa! Nice blog! Glad you got that sorted out.

I’m not seeing an Israel tab either, just a post. Is that the problem you’re describing? You want it to come up as a menu option with Blog, About, Kosher Travel, etc.?

i’d love to pick your brain with a few more questions. would that be ok?
1. on the home page (static) i have an opening, and then i would like only an exerpt of my post- not the entire last post- is that possible?

2. how do I put a subscribe on my home page?
