How can I delete an old blog address?

  I changed my blog name, but now it says I have two blogs and will not change my blog completely to the new blog. Though I switched my primary blog to my new address, and all of my content was moved, anything that I try to post says that it will post to my old address. How can I delete the old blog address as if the new one was it all along?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  And what is the old address? And what is the new one? And what procedure did you use to change the blog name? We need the specific steps you took.

  My old address was http://www.katekatekatesblog.wordpress.com and my new one is the one listed above, http://www.katekatekateblogs.wordpress.com. I changed it by going to the ‘my blogs’ page on my dashboard and clicking the ‘change blog address’. While changing it, I did not click ‘permanently disable this address’ because I was scared that if I ever wanted to change it back I wouldn’t be able to, which is what the button is for. That technically changes the blog address, not name, sorry for miswriting it. After I sent that through, it showed that I have two blogs. One for http://www.katekatekatesblog.wordpress.com and one for http://www.katekatekateblogs.wordpress.com. When I try to post, it tells me that I’ll be posting to my old one (katekatekatesblog.wordpress.com) though all of my other posts and information have been moved to (katekatekateblogs.wordpress.com) At this point I don’t really care what web address I get as long as I only have one blog.

  I got it to work, though probably what I did wasn’t the easiest or most efficient way. I created another account and transferred the old blog address to the account. Now all of my information is on the new web address, and it will let me post to it because its the only blog I have. There was probably another way, but this worked. Thanks for your help :)

  Actually transferring the blog is a good way to make sure you are in the correct site. Considering that the site names are so similar as well, great job!
