How can I delete duplicated posts?
-
Hello, I was very excited to start my first blog and everything is going great except when I changed my time to pacific west coast, now all of my posts are duplicated and I cant figure out how to delete the doubles.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Changing time zone should not have caused duplicated Posts
I have flagged this for the staff to help
I would be very cautious deleting anything – you could change the duplicate Posts back to Draft or Private – that way if anything is interconnected you will not loose anything

That being said the blog is wearing Dusk to Dawn. It displays full posts in the Archives and I’m not going to keep scrolling through full posts to locate duplicates.
What are the titles and or URLs of these quadruplicated posts please?

You’re right. I’ve been checking every fifteen minutes or so and since I posted this link, I stopped to make a new post and now everything labeled from “7-23-13” is gone.
hmmm
Thanks !!!

I did find a duplicated Post – something about Truth – maybe some bizarre cache issue – beats me –
-
no, wait, they’re back, and now they’re all from the 24th :
they have the same link but their on the page in two different places on the screen. -
I took a look and everything is working properly. Could you please point out the posts you are referring to?
Otherwise please try clearing out your browser cache.
-
I cleared my cache and checked on another computer. On my page, there are two of all but one post. You will find a string of posts at the top of the page and then as you scroll down, they repeat. multiple posts of the same content.
-
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?
-
Sorry about the delay. On my computer I only have Internet Explorer. On one of the other computers GoogleChrome Shows the same thing.
-
I’ve had some more time to get more familiar with things, and I see in the dashboard under “posts” I can see all of my posts and it does seem that there are only one of each of them but when I visit the page that all of my friends and followers will see there are duplicates… on every computer I have access to.
-
Do you also encounter this issue from a different internet connection?
Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.
-
I took some screencaps and posted them together. I hope you don’t mind that I didn’t clip together the whole page. It’s gotten really long already but because the page changes colors I was hoping it will illustrate the difference well enough.

Could you try to disable ‘Scroll Infinitely’ at https://kssplendiferoussphere.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php or activate a different theme like http://themes.wordpress.com/themes/twenty-twelve to see if that helps.
-
Aha! Looks like “Scroll Infinitely’ was the cause! Thank you so much! Thank all of you for your input and effort!
