How can I delete information tags on my Home page?

    Hi

I’m trying to hide the information tags (category, name, date, etc) in small type on my Home Post page. Is there any way I can do this?

I’m talking about the tags above and below Welcome! on my http://www.yesterdaysmagazete.wordpress.com site.

If you buy the CSS upgrade you can hide them. They’re in .postinfo; if you set that to {display:none}, that should hide them. It can cause a lot of confusion for your readers, though, and removing those few tags removes everything in .postdata, including some things you might want, so generally it’s not recommended.

    Thank you for your reply.

Actually, my site is set up as an e-zine with a simple “Welcome” post and pages down the right side. So I don’t think my readers would be confused.
I, and other publishers I have talked to, feel that hiding those unnecessary information tags would make our sites look more like magazines and less like blogs. So I guess it’s just something we’ll have to live with for now.
    Thanks again, Ned
