How can I delete my account and be refunded?

I wish to delete my account. I payed to upgrade so that I could build a proper website and I bought a theme from Studio Press. I can’t even use it here! I need to make a wordpress.org website to use the theme, right? I cannot believe you guys are supposed to be easy to use. Trying to figure you out is driving me crazy! To top the wonderful experience off, you have no phone number! NO PHONE NUMBER!!! I WANT TO TALK TO A PERSON. I DO NOT WANT TO SEARCH FOR HOURS THROUGH A FORUM. I WANT A PERSONALIZED ANSWER TO MY PERSONALIZED QUESTION. So far, your service is awful and I want my money back so that I can pay your other site, wordpress.org, and maybe be able to build the website that I am trying to build for my new business…oh my gosh. I just realized that this doesn’t even go to anyone working for WordPress. I’m going to post it anyway, but this is terrible.

I think you need to do some more research before you delete anything. WordPress.org isn’t a web host, for starters.
Go to the store page of your dashboard and you can click there to get your upgrades refunded. Don’t delete anything till you’ve gotten your refund, because if you don’t have the dashboard page for the blog, you can’t ask for a refund.

Thank you so much. I know WordPress.org isn’t a hosting site, but they recommend them. One I register with a hosting site, I believe I can use WordPress.org to build my website, but I am so lost in all this.

You can request a refund yourself directly from the Store -> My Upgrades section of your Dashboard
