How can I delete my account if I have purchased a domain name in the past?

I want to delete my account, but since I purchased a domain name last year it won’t let me. I am no longer paying for the domain name and want to close the blog permanently.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Laura,
Typically, the domain expiration process takes a few months in total before the domain is fully removed from your account, allowing you to delete your site.
That said, if you’re sure you want to cancel the domain and not use it elsewhere, I can remove the domain from your account so you can delete your site.
Once cancelled, it will take several more weeks for the domain to be available again, if available at all (as the domain is currently up for auction). If you do want to use the domain elsewhere, we’ll need to look at other options.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, once I hear back from you, I’ll remove the domain so you can delete the site permanently.
Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Thanks Laura. I’ve removed the domain from your account and you can delete your blog here: https://tasteoftheweekend.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=delete-blog
Please note that once deleted, it cannot be undone. If you want to use the “tasteoftheweekend.wordpress.com” address again, please do not delete the site and we can provide other options.
If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know. Hope you had a great weekend!
