How can I delete my old blog if I no longer can access to my old email address?
-
Hello.
I created a wordpress website back in 2011 for university as a blog for my work on the Photography degree course. It was created using my old university email address, which I no longer have access to (I think I can remember the old uni email address if that helps). I have tried the recovery process, but they require a receipt code/URL code/two factor authentication code – which because I no longer have access to the email address I used to set up this blog, I cannot proceed.
The blog contains photographs that I can prove are mine – I have them all still saved on my computer today, and I even still have the physical negatives of some of those photographs.
Some photographs also show my face, and some family members faces, again who I can prove are me/my family.
There is also a link on one blog post to my still current and active Youtube page showing a video work I made. The video is still active. And again I have the original video on my computer.
The website URL is even MYACTUALFULLNAME.wordpress.com – hopefully that would help recover it somewhat!
Please help, and thank you. Tom.

For recovering your account, you will need either of these information-
- Transaction ID
- Activation URL or key
- Two-Step Authentication Codes
You may find this documentation helpful for guidance on account recovery.
However, any information other than the options listed above to verify your identity cannot be accepted.
And if ownership cannot be established, access to the account cannot be granted for security purposes. You may find the detailed information here.
Thank you
