How can I delete the header without replacing it?
-
I already deleted the image(s) from the media library, but the header is still up there. I don’t want to replace it, I just want it gone.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. By deleting it from the media library you’ve possibly made it worse. Read on.
Go to Appearance ->Customize in the dashboard. Once the customizer is open, click on the Header tab. You should see your header image under “Current Header”. If it’s not there, it should be under “Previously Uploaded”. If the latter, click on it and it should now appear under “Current Header”.
There should be a button under that labelled “Hide image”. Click that and click Save at the bottom. Exit the customizer and check you r blog itself.
If the header is still there, it’s because you had already deleted it from the library. This causes a glitch sometimes. If that’s the case, go back to the customizer and upload a new header. Once you’ve uploaded a new header and saved it, click the Hide Image button again and save. Now there shouldn’t be a header showing on your blog. Confirm that, and now you can delete the image from your media library.
Let me know if you need more help.
