How can I delete the text (on all pages, but especially on the home page)?

    I would like to delete the built-in text “Recent Posts”, “Categories”, “No Categories” and “Archives”, hopefully on all pages but especially on the home page of my “blog”, since these are not relevant on my blog and just clutter up the page. You gave me instructions on how to do this for another blog I have and I was able to do it there, but not on this blog. Could you please provide some instructions/suggestions again? Thanks very much.

    Hello there. One of the problems is that you’ve chosen Titan as a theme. While it is lovely, it does not give you the option of removing the sidebar from your pages. If you want to use a full page theme, you’ll have to choose one of these:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/one-column/

    Some of the themes in the link above are automatically full-page/no-sidebar, and others will give you the option to remove the sidebar on separate pages as you wish.

    If you decide to keep Titan, you can add some coding into the CSS editor to hide the sidebar. Click Appearance → Customize. Click CSS in the right-hand menu. In the CSS revisions box, please paste the following at the very bottom:

    .page #sidebar {
    display: none;
    }

    Save your changes.

    That should rid you of the sidebar on all pages.

    Thank you so much, Robyn. It worked. I guess it might have been better to have picked a full page theme, but I did not know about that at the time and by now I have invested hundreds of hours setting up this site/blog, so I am stuck with it. But hiding the sidebar goes a long way to solving the main problem, which was clutter. I’m very grateful.
