I took a quick look at your site, and you’ve done a nice job. How to proceed from where you are depends on what you are wanting to do and what you are possibly not happy with. What I always try and do is to find a theme that has most of the features, and is structured close to what I want so that the changes I need to make are minimal.
I would also suggest looking at other sites that are doing similar things to what you are doing. You can get some great ideas doing that.
