How can I disable comments?

  Bots are overwhelming my blog with bogus comments. How can I disable comments?

  You can disable site-wide commenting by going to Settings > Discussion Settings, then unchecking the ‘Allow people to post comments on the article’ option in the Default article settings section.

  Please note that this will only affect new posts – you will need to manually disable comments on any posts or pages that have been previously published.
