How can I disable post subscriptions?

    I would like to disable my posts from being emailed to my subscribers. Is that possible?

    No. Whether your site is Public or Private, your followers choose how they receive notifications of new posts.

    To clarify, anyone can subscribe to a Public site and choose to get notifications of new posts by email.

    If your site is private and you invite people to view your site, once they are on the site they can choose to receive notifications of new posts by email. However, when a site is Private, no images are sent via email, even if you’ve enabled Full Posts in Reading Settings.

    If what you are trying for is to have people visit your site rather than read an entire post in an email, you can set your reading settings to “Summary” rather than “Full Post”.

    This does not change the display of posts on your site, only in feeds.
