On my wordpress.com, how can I switch to the block editor instead of the classic editor?

Hi there,
Please refer to the page below according to your editing circumstances.

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to reply.
The reason why I am having trouble deactivating the classic editor is because I am unable to access my installed plugins page.

@storygenie5 unless your site is on the WordPress.com Business or eCommerce plan, you do not have access to plugins. You cannot activate or deactivate them. However, if you are on one of those plans, you are also eligible for direct support via the Contact Support link in your site’s Home dashboard and don’t need to post here to our community forums.
Further to what @ejrhythm suggested, if you want to only use the Block Editor on your WordPress.com website, go to your site’s dashboard and click on
Add Newto create a new post in the Block Editor and start writing. Here are a couple of resources to help you get going in the Block Editor:

Hi there!
When you open the new post editor by clicking My Site → Posts → Add New or click the Write button at the top right, you’ll see the block editor open up by default. I tested this on your account just now and I can see the block editor. Is that not happening for you?
