How can I display only post previews in the blog?

  I just changed my blog theme to twenty twelve, everything turned out fine. I’m using the static front page option and would like to have the blog display only the beginnings of the posts with a link “continue reading”. But I can’t find this option in any menu… Thanks für any hint!
