You’re posting in the support forums for free sites hosted on WordPress.com.
To show testimonials in a slider, you would need to be using either a theme which includes a slider, or a slider plugin, that has support for showing custom post types (CPTs) like Testimonials in the slider. I don’t personally know of any that I could recommend to you.
You might have more luck asking in the forums for the open source WordPress software you’re using at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
For help with the Jetpack plugin, you can reach their support at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support, though they won’t really be able to help in this particular case, as whether or not your theme/slider plugin supports CPTs is not something Jetpack has control over.

The testimonials post type is part of jetpack, and I’m asking about display options for that jetpack feature.. When you click for help in jetpack for that feature it brings me here.
The theme supports it of course.

Jetpack’s testimonials feature simply provides the framework for classifying a Testimonials custom post type.
It’s up to the theme on how to display them. Some themes do display them in a slider, some don’t.
Building a slider for your site is beyond the scope of support that we offer here.
