How can I do sidebars with links to footnotes?

  I like to use footnotes in my blog posts. I would like it if clicking on the footnote number would take the reader to that footnote. Alternatively, I would like a scrollable footnotes sidebar so readers can get to them that way. It’s awkward having footnotes at the bottom of the post and making readers scroll back and forth. Can anyone help?
