How can I dock the block editor toolbar?

  I despise the new block editor. One of the reasons is that on the Edit Post screen, the toolbar to edit the selected block moves around, oftentimes getting in the way of seeing or moving around the draft content.

  Can the toolbar be docked like before? How?

  Hi there, if the Editor’s top toolbar has become “unstuck” you can dock it again by clicking on the 3 vertical dots at the top right of your Editor workspace and click “Top Toolbar.”

  justjennifer, that works, though I’ve had to do it repeatedly. Why a top toolbar isn’t the default is beyond my comprehension at this time. Still, that’s one of the many new annoyances removed!

  The “Reply and mark as resolved” selection didn’t work with my previous post. I’m going to try again with this post then try the Status dropdown in the sidebar, if needed.
