How can I download the content of doc, docx files as a new blog?

  I am wanting to download text from word documents as new blogs. I do a lot of writing and am sure I have done this before. When use insert media I can download photographs but when I attempt to do so with doc and docx files it gives me only the title of the file. How can I access the content of the file?

  Don’t you mean UPLOAD? as in, put the documents in the blog?

  Well, documents don’t display as images, but some word processing programs have a blogging function; I believe some versions of Word do that. Or you can simply Copy all the text and then Paste it in the blog.
