how can i edit a site i didn’t create

    I’m interning with a group that would like me to do some updates on their blog, but even after they gave me the password and username i couldn’t login. Is this because I am working away from the office?
    I created a separate username for myself. Is there a way my boss can make me an admin on the blog?

    They should be able to set you as an admin just from the dashboard. It’s possible that the email notifying you is going to your Junk folder, and it is also possible that you’ve got a WordPress.com ID and they’ve got a WordPress.ORG blog and thus you have an ID for here but not there.

    Simpler if you give us the URL of the blog. Don’t give out the passwords or username though. We just need to look at the blog to see which type of WP it is.
