How can I edit my footer section and add a copyright symbol?
-
I am using the Adelle theme. Currently, my footer displays: “Blog at WordPress.com. | The Adelle Theme.” I would like to add “Copyright © 2014 Hometown Delights” – how can I do that? My blog is setup as a website for my business and I feel it’s important to have a copyright notice in the footer, so I’m really hoping there’s a way that I can add this.
Also, this isn’t a big deal, but I was just curious: does the default footer message “Blog at WordPress.com. | The Adelle Theme” have to stay on or can I delete it all together?
Thank you so much for your help! =)

You will require an annually renewable custom design upgrade and CSS editing to have the copyright text you place inside a text widget re-positioned using position absolute so it displays in the footer. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom and CSS editing:

Thank you so much all the information! I was hoping there was another way to do it besides paying annually for the custom design upgrade, but I guess that’s what I’d have to do in order to add to my footer section.
I’ll look over the links and go from there. I appreciate your time and help!! =)
Thanks again,
Ashley
