How can I edit my homepage?

The website is otterbein-umc.com. I want to remove the section on upcoming events but can’t find a way to update it. It isn’t listed under Pages. At https://wordpress.com/pages/otterbein-umc.com it says ‘The homepage is showing your latest posts,’ but I can’t find any posts. I can’t find a way to change the setting to say it is a page instead of posts. Under my Settings all I have is Sharing with Jetpack. I have WordPress version 5.3.2 and Jetpack version 8.0. Thank you

That section comes from your theme, so please contact support for your theme directly for help with this:
I’m guessing that theme overrides the standard settings included in WordPress for setting the front page as well. That’s the only reason I can think of why you won’t see those. So this isn’t something wrong with WordPress or with Jetpack.
For future reference, though, for help with the WordPress software you’re using you can ask at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – the forum you’re posting now is for WordPress.com the hosting provider, and not the same thing.
