How can I edit my post dates?

  Even after I try to edit the dates I have posted something, it still always says Aug 19, 2011. I even posted something today, Aug 21, 2011 and it was still dated for the 19th. I have gone back to my other posts and changed the dates back but then when I read my blog it still says the 19th.

  If you check the Settings section of your blog’s Dashboard, you’ll see that you’ve set your custom date format as “08/19/2011”

  That’s just a number, not a set of variables, so all dates will appear as “08/19/2011”

  The correct variables are linked to just below that.
