How can I edit the "site description"?

    I’m putting together my first post, and I see a silly “bee’s knees” line below my blog title name when I do “preview”. I gather it’s the “site description” tage, but I can’t find any way to edit it.

    I can remove it — and the title, which I don’t want to do — by unchecking a header text box under “Appearance”. But I don’t see any way to edit the header text or site description text.

    This should be very easy task, since it’s such a basic item … but I don’t see any option for doing this.

    I hope someone hear can point me to the magic place.

    Check in Dashboard > Settings > General

    Should be the “Tagline” option, second down.

    Thanks! That worked. It was simple … once the serpentine path was revealed. Maybe someday right-clicking on a field will give the path to editing it.
