how can I edit (write something) on the original home page

  how can I edit (write something) on the original home page that came with the theme? It does not show under the Pages tag. That would be easy.

  I tried making another Home page and remove the original one (as described in the help section >>hide pages… very complicated) but I can only hide the home page I created. The original home page does not show in the small box called pages in the menu section.

  by the way, I use the Yoko theme

  For your posts to appear on the landing page of the blog, you simply need to create Posts, not Pages at all.

  yes, I noticed that posts appear on the landing page (like this expression) but, I’d like to edit it, like having a static welcome note on it . I actually do not want posts to be displayed there.
