It depends on what the code for embedding the raffle would like. If it’s JavaScript, we don’t allow it for security reasons, but if it is an HTML embed of some sort, then you should be able to post that HTML into the “Text” view of your post editor.

If I switch to hosting on a site i own through godaddy, will it affect my blog at all beside allowing me to use javascript? Will my theme still exist?

I’m not quite sure what you mean. Are you referring to hosting just the raffle on GoDaddy (linking to a page on this other site for users to complete their entry), or hosting your entire blog on GoDaddy? If you’re referring to just the raffle, you could just link to that page on your GoDaddy site and your blog here on WordPress.com wouldn’t change at all.

Yes, you could move your whole site to your GoDaddy account by installing WordPress on that server and running WordPress yourself. You would be able to use the same theme and you could port all of your content across.
