How can I enhance existing slide shows?

I have a slide show in my blog that I wish to enhance by a few more pictures. I can’t find the item in the dashboard menu.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Peter,
Go to the widgets page, and click on the Gallery widget.
Then, click Choose Images. Upload new images or select from your gallery. Click Update Gallery.
Your new images will be updated in your widget. Save and reload your blog to see the changes.

P.S: I don’t see a slide show on your blog. Did you pull it down? -

Thanks for your support. I will try to work it out when I get home (I am on another computer right now so I can’t access my new pictures). The slide show is on my page ‘Cutty Sark biografie’; you need JavaScript to see it.

Sorry I took a while. Now that I have proper access to my pictures I’m afraid your kind support does not solve my problem. The slide show in question is not on a blog post but on a blog page, my ‘Cutty Sark biografie’ page I mentioned earlier. It seems to me the solution must be somewhere on the media menu, the one where you can add ‘normal’ pictures.
Could you please try to look at it again?

It’s quite the same procedure.- Click on the slideshow on your page editor. Then, click Add to Gallery on the left.
- Select the Upload Files tab and upload your images.
- Click on Add to Gallery, and then Update Gallery.
- Save and reload.
I guess this should work. Please try it out and let me know.

Sorry for yelling, I’m so glad it worked!
In fact, it was just a matter of adding a picture to the media library, whereupon it was miraculously automatically added to the slide show. So I am still not sure what is the point, but who cares.
