When you register a domain with WordPress.com, we automatically set the non-www version of the canonical domain. Having one canonical domain (so that the www-version redirects to the non-www version) is beneficial for search engine ranking among other things. It is not possible to change the canonical version of your domain to http://www.dasrcbistdu.info.

That is a pity because we chose the www version as the canonical one for all our websites.
I understand that it is important for SEO to decide on one of the two but I did not know that the one without www is the better one. Is that so?This of course is a bit out of scope but I would appreciate your opinion on this question.

There are arguments for both sides of the coin. I’m not sure that one is head and shoulders better than the other. However, the main downside from my perspective is not setting a canonical domain at all, which is why we automatically set the non-www version across all of WordPress.com.
