How can I find a comment I made on a popular blog?

  This is going to sound really stupid.

  I made a comment on a blog yesterday, and I woke up this morning to find my email inbox absolutely clogged with email alerts for other comments. Yes, I’m going to unsubscribe, BUT my question is this: Is there a quick and simple way of locating the comment I made first, without having to scroll through several pages of comments until I find it? I would like to find whether anyone replied directly to it.

  I’ve already spent 20 minutes scrolling without success. I tried clicking on the first email alert I got, and scrolling a little each way, thinking that that commenter must have posted near to where I did, but that didn’t seem to work either.

  I just have a feeling I’m missing something really simple.

  Help appreciated.
